 Now, I have to be honest. This was not his first smile. Friday night, Grammie (my mom) and Rebecca babysat while I went to a fundraiser at Ryan’s school. Grayson slept the entire time I was gone, so my mom wanted some “awake” time with him. We were all sitting on the couch and my mom was talking silly to him, and he looked right into her eyes and grinned! WHAT?!? OH, COME ON! So Grayson’s first smile was not for his mamma, but his Grammie. I’m just glad it wasn’t at a stranger.

But just this morning I guess Grayson decided his mom was finally smile-worthy, and I got a few minutes of happy, happy baby. Merry Christmas to me!
