About Me
I don’t care what you think about me. Wait, that’s lie. I actually care a lot, but not enough to shut me up or stop me from putting my thoughts out in the world. I’m an introverted Enneagram 3 and if you don’t know what that means, let’s talk. I love my first sip of coffee in the morning, a good debate, and a strategically placed curse word. I’m a wife, mom of three, and a follower of Jesus who also has some major side-eye for the church. I admire intelligent humor and good writing, and injustice and fake news make me ragey.
I’ve known since I was a little girl that I wanted to be a writer- the thrill of piecing words and sentences together, and then putting them out into the world for others to read, never gets old. My first book, written by 7 year old Elizabeth, was titled The Flying Garden and the Little People, and it lived for many years in my elementary school’s library. These days, I tackle less whimsical topics, like faith, politics, social justice issues, and special needs parenting. You won’t always agree with my opinions, but I hope I’ll always make you think.
Someday, I’ll have another book that lives in libraries. Like Alexander Hamilton, there’s a million things I haven’t done. Just you wait. Just you wait.
